My Appearance on Photographic Connections Podcast
Kim Grant and I talk all things Mindful Photography
Hey everyone,
I'm writing to share something a little different and quite special that happened — I was honoured to be a guest on this week’s episode of the Photographic Connections podcast!
As many of you know, photography is not just a profession or hobby for me; it's a journey of connection and mindfulness. On the podcast, I had the opportunity to talk to the wonderful Kim Grant and explore the therapeutic benefits of Mindful Photography. We dove deep into how this practice can help us find peace, presence, and emotional balance through the lens of our cameras.
During the episode, I also opened up about my personal journey with mental health and photography. It was a bit emotional, sharing the highs and lows that have shaped my approach and philosophy towards this art form. I believe that embracing vulnerability can often lead us to our deepest sources of strength, and I felt it was important to share these parts of my story with you all.
I invite you to listen to this episode. Whether you’re a professional photographer or someone interested in the healing aspects of photography and creativity, I believe there’s something in it for everyone. We also discuss practical tips on incorporating mindfulness into your photography practice.
Here’s how you can listen to the episode:
Available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever you usually get your podcasts.
Thank you for always supporting and engaging with my work. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the episode. Feel free to drop your feedback, questions, or stories of how photography has touched your life in the comments below or send me a direct message.
Happy listening, and more importantly, happy shooting!
In peace and mindfulness,
Ellie x
It was a very interesting chat, listening to you and Kim. I have followed Kim for a few years now. She is amazing at what she dose. Listening to both of you sounded like old chums talking over the garden fence. Kim with her you tube channel help me find my way, with mental health and using photograph as a base. I've even had some 121 with her, wise head on good shoulders.
It's well worth another listen at some point, as a lot to take in. Really greatful you got to join Kim on her channel.
